Composite/Cellular PVC Decking
An alternative to vinyl decking, composite decking is composed of a balanced mixture of plastic and wood fiber, carefully crafted with multiple grain patterns to simulate the beautiful look of real wood while offering all the benefits of composite. Composite will absorb little moisture, will not splinter and is slip-resistant. Composite decking is also low-maintenance and easy to clean.
Cellular PVC decking is a formulation of 100% PVC and is therefore lighter than wood deck boards and composite materials. The Deck's low water absorption property makes it an ideal decking for high humidity, pool deck or marine dock applications. Maintenance on a composite deck is a periodic cleaning with mild household soaps. Since the deck is made from 100% PVC, the deck boards will resist fading and splintering, and are slip-resistant when wet or dry. It is also resistant to insects and environmentally friendly, since it is made from re-cycled materials.
